Founded in 1953 by Mr H.G.Rangan Gowd, HRG has become a force to reckon with in the mining industry. He has been the guiding light for the company and responsible for its success. An inspirational man, he alone has brought the company to the status it is aptly enjoying today. The consistency, efficiency and tireless dedication of his work are the foundations of HRG’s zenith. 
He is one of the founding fathers of the HRG group. He has been instrumental in the expansion and acquisition of two mines and has played a major role in the expansion of the group. He has been a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Hospet. During and after his tenure he has been active in the support of many causes. Social service remains an integral part of his prospectus. An indispensable cog in the HRG machine, he has kept the wheels of HRG rolling. 
Mr Ajay Kumar, the Managing Director of HRG group have helped the company expand and reach out to a wider demand.Mr Ajay Kumar has been the man behind the expansion of the organization and has supported the company in acquiring new mines.The brothers brought the company to a repute of quality ores and respect of good ethics.
